The most useful message you can send me is one that says I got a book wrong. I’d rather fix a recommendation than defend it.
I read everything and reply to most things, usually within a few days.
Good reasons to write
- A recommendation that didn’t hold up for you, and why
- A book you think belongs here that isn’t
- A factual error — a wrong page count, a misattributed idea
- A broken link
Please don’t write about
- Paid guest posts or link insertions. I don’t accept either, at any price.
- “Sponsored reviews.” Nothing on this site is paid for by a publisher or an author.
Publishers and authors
If you want a book considered, say so plainly and tell me who it’s for and who should skip it. That answer tells me more than a press release. I can’t promise coverage, and I don’t promise a positive review to anyone.
